Hamid started out in the Market Research industry in the phone rooms in 2003, stepping out solo he founded The Black Currant Solutions in 2007. As a single employee company TBCS began by outsourcing to other partners. As the company grew Hamid saw the need for his own phone room, today the seating capacity of his room in New Delhi is 150! Together with our phone rooms spread across the world CFS’s access to respondents is now higher than ever before. Anne began working in the Market Research industry in 1997, dialling respondents and conducting interviews, CLT testing and intercepts much the same as Hamid.

Hamid and Anne began working together in 2010 as client/vendor, it was the beginning of a wild ride that they could not have foreseen. They worked on 100’s of projects together during this time and collaborated on industry trends and the increasing need for CATI with a twist. In 2016 they joined forces and rebranded TBCS as Currant Fielding Solutions.

Anne met Angela at a social gathering, sparking her interest of the industry through conversations about sales and marketing. Six months later the AU office was launched in Melbourne with a visit up the east coast to Sydney to see the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge
